Taylor Petrie

I studied History and Music Science at University in southern Spain, where I played my first gigs as a guitarist and lead singer in several different bands. I’ve been playing the guitar now for about 15 years, as a solid artist and in bands. Three years ago, I started recording myself during quarantine (I had already worked as a sound tech but had never produced my own music) and have finally gotten into creating and producing my own music. I have my own filmmaking and photography studio in Madrid, but I still play and produce some of my solo stuff on the side.
I write on Guitar Space, mostly out of pure pleasure and joy of sharing my interest and geekiness in music gear and trends.

Oh, this depends on the time of year you ask me. My most prized possession is a custom, luthier-made telecaster, but I’d love a classic Fender strat. Of late, I’m not that into prog metal anymore, but I’d love to try a Mozer guitar.
